Working under generally direct supervision from senior team members and management, focusing on Latin American baseline implementations: Develops functional requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process mapping, use cases, scenarios, analytical review, and other tools as necessary to provide a complete requirement definition utilizing a standardized FRD template.

Associate Business Analyst LATAM

Responsibilities

  • Serves as an advocate for the Latin American AX customer community (internal and external customers) particularly related to gathering user feedback and functional requirements.
  • Identifies and resolves conflicts as required to meet project deadlines and schedules.
  • Researches and recommends new technologies to solve business process inefficiencies
  • Implements plans to test business and functional processes during system development and quality assurance testing. 
  • Defines and documents test conditions and scenarios that can be utilized on a repeatable basis.
  • Provides references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation, providing help desk support, and training users.
  • Takes action to gain strong process management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.

Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, team members and subject matter experts.
  • Fluency in reading and writing English and Spanish required.  Fluency in Portuguese preferred but not required.
  • Undergraduate or technical degree in a related discipline.  0 to 4 years of business experience, ideally in a continuous improvement or process analysis role.
  • Demonstrated aptitude to gain expertise in the use of process design tools and techniques.  Capable of understanding basic financial and/or operational analysis.
  • Understands and applies basic Internet, ERP, and client/server architectures to process improvement recommendations.  Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to travel locally and internationally up to 25 % of the time
